The first wedding of my 2019 wedding season and it definitely set the bar high! From bringing in Seattle Farm Tables for the reception, to every Boho dream decor you could think of, to the bride riding in on a horse prior to walking down the aisle, this Maplehurst bride pulled her cohesive design together beautifully!
This wedding was truly a labor of love and a family affair. The Father of the Bride handcrafted the copper table numbers on a wood stand for each of the reception tables. While the Mother of the Bride tirelessly collected raw hides, skulls and horse shoes for each place setting and centerpiece. No detail was left out and most of what surrounded you had been created by the bride or her family.
Some key elements that the couple incorporated in their ceremony were multiple twenty foot long rugs as their aisle runner, strung lights to highlight the Maple tree lined driveway, fake floral and a cow skull on Maplehurst Farms arbor and hides draping the ground at the arbor to accentuate it.
Now let’s talk about their attire, which did not disappoint of course! The bridesmaids were dressed in a variety of copper tone dresses, while the groomsmen wore beige suits. As if the Bride and Groom didn’t look flawless wearing their wedding attire there were multiple wardrobe changes throughout the day. The bride wore a lace wedding gown with a tulle skirt layered on top for the ceremony and then switched it up for the reception and took the overlaying tulle off.
Later in the evening the bride added a custom leather jacket with her name written in calligraphy on the back and the groom put on some festive cowboy attire.
To top off a already beautiful day, the weather was all you could hope for for a day in June and the wheat fields were the perfect backdrop for photos. The night came to an end with a fun sparkler exit. The perfect way to wrap up an amazing wedding day!
